We’re looking for an experienced Rails developer, ideally 2-3 years with a strong development background to join a prestigious organisation in Cambridgeshire. Ability to rapidly attain new technical skills and understanding of new technical concepts (D)
Ability to solve problems with an eye for detail, independently or part of a team (E)
Existing knowledge of scientific processes (D)
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with people from a wide variety of
disciplines (E)
Ability to understand new scientific processes via communication with laboratory scientists (D)
Ability to elicit and prioritise requirements (E)
Ability to develop collaborations with internal groups (E)
Excellent problem solving skills (E)
Good time management skills leading to high quality solutions within fixed timeframes (E)
At least 3 years of relevant experience with the demonstration of designing and developing
web based applications for support of scientific projects (E)
A degree or further degree related to biology/genetics/computer science (E)
